Cecil Sharp House
is an impressive 1930's listed building near Regent's Park in central London, only minutes from the bustle of Camden Town and picturesque Primrose Hill. It is the purpose-built home of the English Folk Dance and Song Society, a national charity for the promotion and support of the traditional arts, and of the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library.

"The House" has 3 halls with sprung floors, 1 smaller meeting room, a bar, cafe and 20 car-parking spaces for hall hirers.

Kennedy Hall (above) 69'x39' (21m x 12m) is our largest hall and has many unique attractions including ample natural light, wood panelling, sprung floor, double storey ceiling and the celebrated Ivon Hitchens mural spanning the 65ft length of the hall. Doors opposite the mural open out onto a walled garden. This room offers an undisturbed working environemnt and comfortably accommodates 300 people seated theatre style or 150 cabaret style. There is additional tiered seating for 120 people around the edges of the hall. Baby grand piano.

Trefusis Hall 45' x 27' (14m x 8m) is a more intimate size, seating 150. It also has a sprung floor and is ideal for smaller-scale rehearsals. Natural light and doors opening out into the garden make this a very pleasant work space. Upright piano.

Storrow Hall 30' x 25' (9m x 8m) has a sprung floor and fresh, simple decor, complimented by plenty of natural light, creating the ideal space for small rehearsals, workshops and classes. This room is suitable for groups of up to 40. Upright piano.

Other rooms for meetings or classes are also available.

The walled garden, with seating and space for a marquee, is accessible from both Kennedy and Trefusis Halls.
