Arrived at P[ennsylvania] Station New York at 9.30 taxi’d to Grand Central where N[orman] Wilkinson met me and we breakfasted together at the Station. I left for Montreal at 10.30 and arrived at Westmount at 10. Ronald [Sharp] met me looking rather gaunt & old but evidently highly delighted to see me. Made friends with a Canadian Barrister of the name of Duff in the train. Had some food & went to bed dog-tired, sleeping in the same room as Ronald.Location
