One of the hardest days I have ever spent. Left Club at 8.45 and didn’t return till 5.30. Dressed, had something to eat and took rehearsal at 6.40, & Class afterwards till 8.10. Then a presentation made to me by Miss [Charlotte] Foss with a speech from me. Lectured at Quadrangle Club. Miss Foss motored me home at 11.30.Location
