Arrived at 7.50 and at Philadelphia at 8.15. Went to McKenzie’s, had some breakfast, shaved etc, & went off to Camden to supervise Gramophone records. Great fiasco — scores badly written. Resolve to postpone work & go to N[ew] Y[ork] early tomorrow morning Mr Clarke strongly advised this. Went with the McKenzie’s to Mr Marshall Scull’s to dinner. Met many interesting people including the Wagners Magom[?] etc. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Went to bed about 12 p.m. after packing preparatory to an early rise.Location
