Transcription Notes
Usual ship life. Had a long argument about the war with Hapgood & Hamilton. Both — more particularly the latter — take that superior & critical attitude towards the belligerents while avowing a bias towards the Allies which I find very irritating. Had a long talk with a Mr De Pargon[?] who is travelling with his wife & child. A native of Jersey and brother of the man who wrote a biography of Lloyd George. Sea quite calm, but air cold. Run 365 from 2.40 p.m. yesterday to noon to-day.
