Mrs C[allery] called for me at 11 and took me a long motor drive to [....?] a beautiful country residential village very well worth seeing. Had a good deal of hay fever. Lunched at Mrs C’s to meet Mrs Denny who has a house at York Harbour near Elliot. Com[mittee] meeting to decide about scholarships to Summer School at 4.30 and a dance practice in "Nonesuch" (Mrs C’s new garden) at 6. Dinner & then to station where I left by the 9.40 train for New York.Location
