Arrived New York at 8.8. Had considerable bother about my luggage but eventually got it together and carted it over to Grand Central where I bought a ticket to Boston, got shaved & had some breakfast. Then to Shipping office to leave note for Maud & to take berths in S[t] Paul July 17th. A long but not very satisfactory talk with Gray. Caught 1 train to Boston where Jack Storrow met me & motored me to Baylston St. & then on to Lincoln. Went to bed early very tired.Location
