Felt very bad in bed and found it hard to get any comfortable sleep. Went into Boston in the morning Mrs S[torrow] motoring me Maud & Lily. We did some shopping. I interviewed Fisher at Ditson’s and then we all met at Women’s Club. Mrs S insisted on taking me to Dr Goldthwait who strapped my back up with adhesive plaster in strips. Felt my pains very much indeed & had great difficulty in getting into bed.Location
