A very bad night and pain in my back quite acute. Did not do anything to speak of all day. Maud & Lily went off to a party in the afternoon & Mrs S[torrow] & I dined alone. Went to bed fairly early and found that it took me half an hour to get my clothes off and the utmost pain to get into bed. Slept but little and felt very bad.Location
