Slept quite well and was in garden by 9.30 having got up all by myself. Prepared during morning for grand lunch for 45 people here. This I attended, spoke about dancing & then showed Maud & Lily off at[?] morris jigs, Mrs S[torrow] & Miss Chapin joining in in C[ountry] D[ance] fours. Wrote formal letter to Aldrich about ballad affair & began packing. Dressed & dined with the Storrows & a friend from Chicago — all the guests having departed the "class" festivities culminating & ending to day. Made preparations for moving tomorrow.Location
