Rain still continuing but not quite so heavily. We have had probably as heavy a fall as at Boston viz 5.33 inches i.e. Some rain! Mrs Storrow went off by the 1.57 train from Portsmouth. Held exam at 2 p.m. & granted 5 C[ountry] D[ance] certificates to Miss Chapin, Peabody, Chorpening, Murray, & Mr Peters. Went with Lily, Maud & the Steinbergs to Portsmouth in the evening where we did much shopping and dined at Ham’s[?] restaurant. Returned by 9 p.m. train & did a little dancing before turning in.Location
