Weather at last improving after a very stormy night when it thundered a great deal. Sun showed for a moment between 10 & 11 a.m. and it didn’t rain after that. A long sword dance practice in the afternoon. Have now taught 4 sword dances to the men Flamborough, Haxby, Earsdon & Kirkby [Malzeard]. Had a quiet dance in the evening and then went to an alfresco supper at a bungalow where Miss Foss, Miss Elder etc camp out.Location
