Howells (meeting Mrs Bell & the Booth Tarkingtons) they lunching on their own account. We met at 4 p.m. at Miss Perkins and discussed demonstration there on the 13th. Got back in time for dinner at 6.45 & went to bed early. A great many explosive crackers going all day — beginning at midnight. Very fine & hot.Location
