Rain again after a long sea fog. Cleared a bit in the afternoon as the wind changed from the East to the S.W. The Staff and I gave a dance in the evening in honour of the 4th [July] with refreshments etc. A very great success. The dancing in the barn looked just lovely. To bed at 11.15, very tired. At Demon[stration] we did Lady in the Dark Pr[incess] Royal & the Haxby Sword Dance etc.Location
