A bright sunny day. Saw land — Welsh coast — soon after we got up in the morning. Arrived at bar about 6.45 and tied up alongside Quay at 7.45. Alien business till nearly 10 p.m. Got luggage thro customs & caught special train to Euston at 10.30, sharing compartment with Marcosson, Miss Deveney, Maud & Monsieur Margay[?]. Arrived Euston 2.35, stayed night with Maud at Euston Hotel getting to bed at 4, very sad after hearing news about Constance.1Location
