Finished writing chanteys in book. Maud came down at 9.45. Alice & Dor[othea] up to Hampstead to house hunt. Maud & I went up to London to see new E.F.D.S. Sec[retary] etc, returning in the evening. I saw Hickson about breaking the lease of the Fitzjohn’s Ave[nue] house.1
