Caught 8.45 train to London meeting Dorothea at Paddington. Spent a long day house hunting in Hampstead. Only possible house in Lamballe Road. Got home about 6 and found Tet there. Constance fairly well but had had a slight relapse in my absence attributed to a powder which she took for rheumatism. Received a very critical letter from Walter Buck which greatly upset me. 1915: 233 Wednesday 4 August 1915 Uxbridge — Stratford-upon-Avon Dor[othea] & I went up to London by 11.15 and met Tet at Swiss Cottage. We three thoroughly inspected the Lamballe House & also the "Ingleby". Dor went back by 3.45. I had an interview with Novello’s at 4 concerning Country Dances in separate sheets — satisfactory on the whole. Returned to Stratford by the 6 train where Maud & Joan met me.Location
