Rehearsal at B[ryant] Hall in morning. Then to Public Library to consult F. S. Journal [Journal of the Folk Song Society] re Street Cries. Wrote out 2 for Dumb Wife and arranged Drinking Song to "The Beggar". Practised these at rehearsal at Wallacks in the afternoon. Dined at Players Club with Gray to meet [Richard] Aldrich mus[ic] critic of N[ew] Y[ork] Times, & attended rehearsal at Wallacks afterwards. To bed at 1 a.m.Location
