Dec[ember] 24th. Called on Gray of Novellos and of course Miss Wick and saw a good deal of Barker. Dec 25. Spent morning at home writing & settling my things then went to Barkers for lunch, walked with him afterwards in Central Park, and called on the Huntingtons, dined with him & returned to Hotel at midnight. Weather bitterly cold with a good deal of snow. Dec 26. Bought a fur coat in the morning; then to Empire Theatre to see Barker, Heggie & Raines.
