Dec. 30. Rehearsed again at Bryant Hall. Called at Bank and opened my account at Madison Branch. Bought a pair of pince nez & a cigarette case! Entertained Miss Valentine to tea at my hotel. Dined with the Huntingtons and went to Cohen’s Theatre. Dec. 31. Rehearsal in the morning at 10-1, after breakfasting with Prof[essor] Baker at Player’s Club. Rehearsed again at 2.30, then called with Miss Wick on [Josephine] Brower of Playground Ass[ociation] head tea with her at a tango restaurant & dined with the Squires. Paid Hotel Bill to 30th one week.
