Went by 11 train to Sing Sing Prison with Mrs Storrow whose brother Mr Osborne is the Governor. We lunched there and were afterwards shown round by a member of the Reception Com[mittee] — an ex-tram conductor! All profoundly interesting. Returned at 5-10, leaving Mrs S[torrow] behind. Dined withMiss Wood Hinman at Delmonico’s. Then at 8 p.m. took dance class before Athletic League, teaching Sellenger, Rufty, Lady in the Dark & Sheepskins. Then home to dress & to Barker’s to supper, meeting Lady Duff Gordon ("Lucille"), Dobson, Williams, Wibourg[?] etc. Home at 2 a.m. after long talk with H[arley] G[ranville] B[arker].Location
