Left by 10 train for Philadelphia where I met Tait McKenzie, saw the Hall & something of the City & lunched at Lincoln’s Head Club meeting Gummere of Haverford and several very interesting men. Lectured in the evening at Hareton[?] Hall to an overflowing audience on f[olk] dance our usual quartet performing Hey, Conceit, Rufty Lady in the Dark, Hunsdon and Parsons ]. Returned with Rabold by 10.30 train arriving at Hotel at 1 a.m. Read many mail letters from England & to bed at 2.30 a.m.Location
