Playground class till 12.30. Then to lunch at Athletic club with[Iden] Payne the actor-man — very interesting conversation with him. Then the Gilchrists called & motored Maud & me into town to catch the trolley to Butler a town about 35 miles away. We took a troupe of dancers including 6 Playground swordsmen & gave an hours entertainment there — very enjoyable trip. Got home soon after midnight — very tired of course. Weather rather cooler but still quite fine. Posted long letter home to Constance.Location
