Went with Maud to Gray, to Meyrowitz about glasses, bought a "sailor hat" from John Knox and lunched with Glenn of Russell [Sage] Foundation where I met Mr Woods head of Settlement movement. Went up to N[ew] Y[ork] University College Hall about pageant, returned home to tea and then to Stadium for rehearsal. My back began to bother me again very acutely and I went to bed in some pain feeling very rheumatic & seedy.Location
