Maud Mr Carledge & Campbell went a day’s excursion up Mount Mitchell but I remained behind to write up my tune book, having now got two books bound in Asheville. This took me 2 or 3 hours. I went into Asheville for an hour or so to complete my purchases. A tremendous thunderstorm burst over us after I had got back about 2 p.m. and put out our electric light. One of the angriest storms I have ever seen. The others returned home about 8 p.m.Location
