Transcription Notes
Waited a long time on the pier before being examined. I was the last to go through — about 1.45 — so as to be with Joan & Maud as long as possible. Got on board at 2.45 very hungry. Found the ship large, roomy & comfortable. A good cabin and a a cabin mate a man of my own age who like myself was a seasoned traveller — by name Stanley Fletcher. Mrs Penelope Wheeler was the only passenger I knew. We sit together at the Captain’s table in the saloon.Location
