Transcription Notes
Bad night again but felt a trifle better in the morning although terribly depressed. Have no doubt but that I have had a sharp attack of Grippe of a sort with bad cough which I hear has been very common recently in Knoxville & vicinity. I got up at 10 and sat in the porch and smoked a cigarette, then walked with Miss Buffon to Conservatory of Music — a nice little building. Went down to dinner and met an interesting man Mr. Wilson, of the Tennessee University, Knoxville in the Agricultural department. Continue conversation with him afterwards and then return to rest for a while. After tea, write up some of my tunes then to bed about 5.30. Feeling very weak & ill.Location
