After breakfast write letters and then at 11 to Arnold Shaw about lectures in November. At present he has very little for me, only one lecture for certain at Maddison N[ew] J[ersey] Nov[ember] 20th at 10.30 a.m. 50 dollars. The Brooklyn people want me for 2 lectures at same price. Call on Gray after; not a very pleasant interview. Lunch with Glenn at Century Club and have a most interesting talk with him. Home to rest & then tea. Go out to shop, taking trousers (white) to be cleaned, shirt to have cuffed & 2 evening shirts to be put right at Rasllers[?]. Bought new pair of walking shoes for mountains. Home to continue packing. Rabold was to have come to dinner but Emanuelson who is going to England calls on him & he has to put us off.Location
