Set to work after breakfast at my packing — the last time, thank the Lord, for a while. I am just sick of packing and arranging my things for different expeditions which I have been doing ceaselessly for 13 weeks! Then I finish off tunes for Fox Strangways & enjoy humming them over again — they are a rich lot! Caught the 3.40 train. Got stuck up as usual at Charlotte for 1_ hours at 9 p.m. so we shall be late at N[ew] York tomorrow. Hate the train and feel very uncomfortable. Get to bed about 10.30.Location
