Went round to Dr Wilson in the morning and opened up things. He is going to overhaul me pretty thoroughly — a bad business which I most cordially detest! Then to Schirmer’s where I saw Kurt Schindler and left the Putnam letter with him — He is to see S[chirmer] and report progress in a day or so. Quiet afternoon writing long letter to Constance about Crawhall tunes1 and other things, Walford Davies etc. In the evening dined at the Glenn’s and spent a very pleasant 3 or 4 hours with them, discussing amongst other things a lecture on my mountain experiences at the Russell Sage Hall which he will gladly lend me. Weather very warm in the morning but raining cats & dogs! In the evening, dry, cold with a high wind!Location
