M[aud] and I after writing letters walked down to Russell Sage Foundation to see room. Find it most suitable with good floor for a dance. Arrange with Glenn’s Sec[retary] Nov[ember] 23rd as provisional date. Entertain Miss Mary Stone and Miss Rue at lunch downstairs. Miss R was for a long while a teacher under Miss Stone at Hindman. Didn’t take to her over-much — Miss Stone is very nice. Then we went to Gilman Studio and had first rehearsal of Running Set. Maud danced and I taught it. It went very well considering the material I had to use. It is easier to teach than I had anticipated. Charlotte Foss returned with us and we all 3 dined at English Plum Pudding place in 41st street — rather nice. Home very tired & to bed early. Weather still fine and bright, but very cold.Location
