Went round to Schirmer’s in the morning to hurry them up about MS. Made app[ointment] with Schindler to play my accompaniments to him on Friday morning at 10 a.m. Then to Rabold’s where we met the Campbells & Miss Moore of the R[ussell] S[age] Foundation and I played my accompaniments. The Campbell’s greatly delighted. They sounded better to me, not having looked at my MSS since Asheville. We all lunched together at The Fermery in 33rd St[reet]. Home at 3.45 and out again after tea to Faculty Club, Teacher’s College, to dine with Dr Farnsworth. Discussed all & sundry, engaged his co-operation with regard to getting use of gym at Teacher’s Coll[ege] & 2 other rooms for Xmas School. We went over to his room and went thro’ a lot of folk songs. I like him and find him one of the most intelligent folk song people here.Location
