Went round to Schirmer’s and had another long interview with Sonneck and discuss further the royalty question. I think they want my book so I can put some pressure on them. Bradley came to lunch and we had a very interesting talk in my room afterwards. I like him very much indeed. At 3 we went to Gilman studio and had 3rd rehearsal of Running Set which does not go very well and will I fear never do so with the material I have to train. Back to tea at 5 and then entertain Iden Payne at dinner here. Have a long and jolly talk with him downstairs and also in my room. My eye is better but it is still weak and refuses to get quite right. I am bathing it and using boracic lotion.Location
