Went round to Schirmer & Putnams. The former promised to let me hear about MS soon — he thought they would take American rights only. Then I went on to Players Club and had an interesting lunch with Lanier. Home to rest, dined at P[lum] P[udding] place and then to N[ew] York Centre party in the evening. It was a motley crowd there, 30 new members having joined that evening! With the greatest difficulty I managed to teach The Health, and Maud Halfe Hannikin. Very nice people & spirit of the whole place excellent. I suggested they should make first half hour 8-8.30 for beginners, 8.30-9.30 for everyone, and 9.30-10 for everyone except beginners. Miss Beiderhaze approved and will probably put the thing through.Location
