Had a very bad sleepless night. Caught 10 train for New Haven where Bradley took me. Showed me Yale University and then we went through the gallery to see a very fine collection of early Italian Primitives. Lunched together at Graduates Club and then interviewed Day at University Press. Discussed ways & means at length and a comprehensive scheme of publication looking forward 5 years at least!!!! Had tea at Hotel amid the din of a rag-time band and then to the station to catch 5.13 train. Arrived at 7.40, 30 minutes late as usual. Maud & Charlotte met me & we all then dined at Vanity Fair. Went to bed soon feeling very seedy. My eye is very weak and I am sure I am going to have another attack in a day or so.Location
