Slept a bit better but nothing to boast of. Then soon after breakfast went round to Rabold’s where I took down 4 nice songs from Mrs John Clapp and afterwards heard her sing folk songs & criticized her. Back to lunch at our room at 12.30, rested afterwards and then to Brooklyn Institute to give lecture on dance. Maud, Rabold, Charlotte and I did same programme as at Bennett School last week to quite a large audience. Returned to hotel and then we four dined at P[lum] P[udding] place and went to rehearsal of Running Set at Miss Gilman’s at 8. Still the same quartet went to drug store and had drinks, and so home, pretty tired but glad to have got through the day which was rather a strenuous one. Felt better than yesterday. Weather ideal the last few days, bright sunny, warm with a slight nip in the air.Location
