Went round to Schirmer’s and delivered up my MS to him. I also saw the literary editor Dr Baker and discussed with him details about printing etc — all seemed very satisfactory. In the afternoon went round to Gilman studio to inspect the dancing. A very nice class there. I taught them a country dance, talked to the students a-while and Maud took the Flamboro’ to save Rabold who had a bad throat. Rabold Maud and I after a long talk with the Gilmans went to the Peg Woffington and dined together very pleasantly. In the evening after we sang a good deal so as to get ready for our lecture at Madison tomorrow, which we shall regard as a rehearsal for Friday — "trying it on the cat". Then to bed. Rather nervous about Friday. Weather very warm & muggy and inclined to rain.Location
