Rabold came round early as he is turned out of his room by the arrival of the Gowing family — he has taken a room here on our floor for the night. In the morning I went round to the R[ussell] S[age] F[oundation] and had a long talk with Glenn & Miss Moore. The former said he was going to see Pritchett tomorrow at lunch. H. W. Lanier came to lunch with us & we had a long argument about democracy — and a very friendly encounter. In the evening we went to Allied Bazaar and danced from 8-8.30, jigs & C[ountry] D[ances], 9-9.30 the Running Set and 10- 10.30 jigs etc. Meredith, Condon, Gowing & Rabold for the men, Maud, Charlotte Foss & the Misses Parson & Dobbins for the women. The same lot for Running Set as before. Rather a small audience but appreciative and we enjoyed ourselves hugely. Had a short talk with Aberdeen — poor old rotter!Location
