Transcription Notes
Early breakfast once again and then to work to finish off draft of Carnegie document. While Maud was typing it I got Gray to look through and sanction my letter to Clayton and then went on to Putnams on business. Whiting came to lunch and I had a nice talk with him but Madewell, I am sorry to say, didn’t turn up. In the afternoon I wrote several letters including a long one to Constance, and one to Frankland King ordering more MS music books. Met Glenn at Century club at 6 p.m. and discussed Carnegie draft. Charlotte came and dined with us at 43rd St[reet] restaurant. After dinner I wrote 8 or 9 more letters, mainly notes of thanks to dancers of Running Set and Bazaar shows. A very busy and tiring day. Weather quite warm and becoming rainy in the evening with S.E. wind.Location
