After Breakfast telephoned Kittredge and arranged to dine together tomorrow night. Then to work at letter. We got it done by the skin of our teeth by 12.30, though Maud had not by then finished all the typing. We lunched and I walked down to Boston University for my classes. Mrs Storrow was there and I lectured again & went through similar programme. Maud joined us at 3.30 having finished & posted letter — good luck to it. After class had tea with Peggy [Scovill] at Copley Plaza then repaired to the Lennox to meet Miss Mary Stone of Hindman with whom I dined. I then went on to Lily’s school, saw part of morris class taken by Maud and afterwards took C[ountry] D[ance] class. Tried to teach Poole’s Hole but too difficult. Then gave them The Health and [....?] Church Bells & revised Picking up Sticks. Got home at 11 thoroughly tired out — a very long & arduous day!Location
