Telephoned Kittredge and arranged to meet him at 7 at Adams House. Worked at Running Set in the morning, lunched at Mary Elizabeth, rested afterwards, wrote several letters and then went to Adams House. Had a long & very pleasant chat with Kittredge, first at dinner then in my rooms (Maud dining at Mrs Storrows with Lily & Dick Conant). I like K[ittredge] very much and our talk was most illuminating and interesting. He is very weak of course on the music side and knows it, but he certainly has a lot of knowledge about the literary side, song books, broadsides etc. I sang him several tunes and he promised to take me to the Harvard Library tomorrow morning and introduce me to the chief people there. A very interesting evening on the whole. No classes to day or tomorrow.Location
