Breakfasted at Hotel — not very nice. Then started on technical part of book after settling the forms of Figure description and Notation. Got on pretty well and worked till 1 when we went downstairs for lunch — the Mary Elizabeth closed on Sundays. After a rest went off by trolley & train to West Medford where we had supper. I played several of my new accompaniments and these they seemed to like. Mr Williams whom I met there before very kindly motored us back. I was very nervous as the streets were very dangerous. It thawed last night and then froze hard again. It took us several minutes to walk from the trolley to the Coolidge’s house a matter of 50 yards or so! Got back about 10.30 very cold indeed.Location
