Thermometer down to 14 this morning and it doesn’t rise higher than 22 in the middle of the day though sun shining. I see it is 15 below zero at Cincinnati so we are a bit better off here. Worked at book all the morning. Lunched at Mary Elizabeth, Lily Roberts joining us. Took classes at University 2-5 then back to Copley Plaza Hotel with Peggy Scovill for tea and later on an early dinner. Maud & Peggy went to E.F.D.S. school at 7. I joined them at 7.45 and then took C[ountry] D[ance] class from 8-9.30. Peggy motored us back to Hotel in an open vehicle — nearly did for me, my ears tingle now, half an hour later. It is going to be a fierce night and I am not looking forward to it.Location
