Feeling very tired and after arraying myself in wedding garments — mainly a new tie and clean spats! — went off to the University for the last set of classes 10-1. Then got into Peggy Scovill’s motor and with Maud, Rabold & Peggy drove out to Lincoln for Lily’s wedding.1 After sundry adventures arrived just in time for the ceremony. Maud had a renovated wedding dress and Lily was resplendent in white silk veil and orange blossom. I gave her away and Maud was her solitary bridesmaid. It all went off very well and we got away about 5. I got home at 6.30 pretty nearly dead with fatigue. A quiet dinner of very indifferent food downstairs — much packing and then bed between 10 and 11. Glad the week is over — it has been rather a strain.Location
