Felt very depressed & blue on waking, for some unknown reason. Went out to Raudeggen’s studio but gave up in despair and returned soon after 11.30. Perhaps it is the weather — it is nearly 70 and I am going about in my summer flannel suit without an overcoat! The Campbells who are back from Nantucket had tea with us at 3.15 and stayed till 6 p.m. It was nice to see them again and to tell them of our wanderings this year in the mountains. She sang to us and we sang to her songs we have each found since we last met. He is very ill but looked a little better than I expected to find him.1 Altogether it was a delightful re-union. After they had gone I began going through my papers in my box, setting them in order and selecting those I must take away with me when we leave for our winter tour. Rabold called at 7 and we dined together at Peg Woffington’s, he coming home afterward & staying till 10. Wrote to Dearmer to try & arrange a meeting this week in Boston.Location
