Had a long phone talk with Miss Dyar in the middle of my shaving. She talked hard but I didn’t understand half of what she meant if indeed she did mean anything. Breakfasted at Hotel and then saw Miss Perrin and Miss Bock. We lunched at the Caffeteria opposite the hotel and then Miss Bock motored us to the Jews[?] Institute where I took the Recreation Class — a very good one. It rained hard all day and was much colder. Maud and I dined at the St John’s Arbour and then went to the Central High School Gym where we took two classes in succession for Miss Perrin’s people, one of beginners (about 40) and one (about 30) of dancers whom I had had before. Had a miserable journey home in the rain and very glad when at last we did get back. Arranged to go to Miss Liggett’s School on Thursday morning next. Hope we may arrange sword classes for both Ed[ucation] and Rec[reation] students.Location
