Breakfasted early and then took our first sword dance class of the Rec[reation] people. Then routed out a carpenter who promised to make me some swords by tomorrow morning, did a little shopping and got back to Hotel for a wash. It was then time for the caffeteria lunch and the classes — same as yesterday — so we have been continually at it to-day from 9.15- 5.45! It is strenuous work but as it will be one of the best weeks I have ever had I am not complaining! Dined again at the Hotel and did ourselves very well! After dinner wrote a few letters — Dr Sinclair, Miss Hinman and Miss Plumb of The Arts & Crafts. The weather was only a little better than yesterday because it rained only at intervals instead of continuously! Shall be glad when we get away next Monday though I am really enjoying the work very much.Location
