Getting Back to Dancing in Person: mini grants for social folk dance organisers
Applications have now closed for these grants
The deadline was 18 OCTOBER 2021, 9AM
The English Folk Dance and Song Society are keen to support positive and creative ways to safely get people back to social folk dancing in person now that COVID-19 restrictions have lifted.
We are seeking proposals from individuals and groups/organisations who wish to start up or return to social folk dance events.
Mini grants of £300 to £500 will be offered to help cover the costs of developing and running these events or projects.
We enthusiastically encourage events or projects which increase access to social folk dance for people with diverse backgrounds and needs, in relation to one or more of the following: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, and social or economic status.
To apply for a mini grant, use the downloadable Application Form (Word or PDF)
The closing date for completed application was 18 October 2021, 9am
Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application on 2 November 2021
The mini grant must be used by 31 March 2022
