Yesterday’s highlight was maypole dancing at @CecilSharpHouse Family Ceilidh. Really welcome, easy for beginners as someone tells you what to do, all ages can join in (although under 5s may need help), and a good workout too! Will definitely be back – museummum on Instagram
Our events are for children of all ages and their parents, carers and families. Absolutely no previous knowledge of the folk arts is needed!
We also run family events elsewhere in partnership with community and cultural organisations.
