By leaving a gift to the English Folk Dance and Song Society in your will, you can continue to make a difference for years to come.
Gifts in supporters’ wills have had a tremendous impact in recent years:
- Kick-starting our Dance Development programme, supporting and growing our practitioner workforce and delivering youth dance activities to enthuse and encourage a new generation of dancers
- Enabling us to create a dedicated archive space for the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library
- Providing much-needed funds to support increasing access to Cecil Sharp House by installing a lift and refurbishing its main Kennedy Hall
- And, where no particular area of support has been specified, helping to underwrite our many important ongoing activities
We appreciate that your first priority will be to look after your immediate loved ones. After you have done this, by leaving even the final 1% to us, you could make a substantial difference.
You do not have to have a lot of money, property or possessions to remember us in your will – we value donations of all sizes.
If your estate is expected to attract Inheritance Tax, the rate of tax due can be reduced by leaving 10% or more of your estate to charity.
